Photosyntesis Becoming ‘The Sun’ Of Brand Solutions

While I was working as a Marketing Manager in a company, I noticed a loophole. Every marketing agency had a set of services that the clients had to select from. The clients even paid for the deliverables that didn’t suit their purpose. There was a missing link between what the companies offered and what research should be conducted for devising a plan. I noticed the gap and undertook an initiative to rectify it, says Mayank Saxena, founder of Photosyntesis Branding Solutions.
All marketing agencies offered top-notch services, but the question was, how? The agency paid no heed towards the background research for the brand to achieve its objectives. This is the point where Photosyntesis Branding Solutions was born in my brain.
Photosyntesis caters to the ‘how’ element of marketing. It has also started catering to the ‘why’ element of the big marketing question. We ensure that every marketing strategy doesn’t rip off a sizeable amount from the client. People often say that marketing produces early results, but early results don’t have vital research to support them. An organic approach has to be followed, where you have to be a little patient because it will reap the harvest for you in the long term.
With the objective of backing marketing strategies with ample research, we started Photosynthesis. But for the first six months, we had no client. My earning was zero, and my wife supported me. My decision did stir my family, but my wife has been a huge support.
I landed my first client after six months and saw things coming around. Some more clients followed suit, but the expenses were still cut-to-cut. There was a time where I couldn’t maintain the minimum account balance for my account. It is because of the approach we follow that we receive selected but long term clients.
You might say that Photosyntesis functions like a normal media and marketing agency, and what’s the difference? To answer that, we are providing all the services that the usual marketing solution agency provides. But our value addition lies in the approach we follow. We research the company and analyze our clients’ objectives before. Based on our research of their objectives, we devise a marketing plan for them.
Social media is a trending base for marketing these days, but we do not impose social media on a client who’ll benefit by improving SEO. We don’t unnecessarily impose a package on a client. So, Photosyntesis takes care of the nuances in the marketing arena. For this very reason, we say that we are more mindful while devising brand solutions.
Photosyntesis has a team of 5-6 people, and the rest of the workforce comes from our exclusive partnerships. I have an exclusive team that only works with me. We sign company to company contracts. They include blog writers, tech experts, and other team members. This exclusivity helps us to maintain the quality and credibility of our work.
I also acknowledge that a customization approach might hamper my business, but Photosyntesis is far more meaningful than money. We believe in building relationships and long-term clients. Previously, a company that I was working with fired me because I suggested that the client not opt for services they don’t require. This fundamental yet significant core value distinguishes Photosyntesis as a brand.
I value my team, and I make sure that no client disturbs my team after 6:00 p.m. This is the European work culture that I am trying to imbibe in Photosyntesis.
The clients can directly call me but cannot connect with my core team. I make sure none of the official work rings my core team’s doorbell. I know that the media industry works at a breakneck pace, but we cannot forget those who work here are also humans. By this, I don’t mean we don’t understand any urgency, but every time an emergency cannot occur. I believe the right type of work ethic shapes the employee experience and optimizes their performance. The correct frame of mind is critical, and I think it is my responsibility to provide a proper work environment.
Our company’s name also believes in the core value of nurturing our clients and the employees alike. Similar to the process of photosynthesis gets a plant going, I want to play the same role for brands. Photosyntesis is an integral part of the plant’s growth. Similarly, I want Photosyntesis Branding Solutions to be an integral part of a brand’s growth.
This is Mayank Saxena, the founder of Photosyntesis Branding Solutions, who believes it doesn’t take an omnipresent approach to make a brand work. It takes the right approach and thorough background research to get there. Defying the common conception of taking businesses on all platforms, Mayank, through his brand, caters to his customers’ individual needs. Making his way through the zenith with his Dhandho Ni Soch, Mayank takes the less traveled road but with utmost dignity and pride.
